Hospitalisation

Our aim is to take care of your pet as best we can when they stay in our hospital. Our nursing staff are exceptional at caring for your pets needs whilst they stay with us whether it is for a surgical procedure or for some medical management.

All animals undergoing any form of anaesthesia will have a complete physical examination so that their state of health may be carefully determined. A pre-anaesthetic blood test may be carried out and intravenous fluids may be administered. We will advise if we feel this is appropriate for your pet!

Hospitalisation

With the proper use of safe, efficient and modern anaesthetic drugs & equipment the possibility of an adverse anaesthetic reaction is kept extremely low.

All animals under anaesthesia have blood pressure, pulse & respiratory rate & oxygenation carefully monitored throughout their procedure.

Do not offer any food for 12 hours before anaesthesia. This means no breakfast on the morning of admission. We recommend that you keep your pet indoors the night before admission.
